Run on its own renewable energy

We are committed to sustainable development. We believe that business can prosper without destroying our environment, so the site uses the natural resources around it, the wind, water and sun of its green-belt setting, to supply 100% of its energy from renewable sources, backed by a host of energy-saving technologies.

For occupiers, that means low-carbon premises that support your own environmental reporting and sustainability commitments.

Biodiversity net gain scheme

Beginning in 2026, farmland surrounding Bullhouse Mill is being set aside for a biodiversity net gain scheme, creating and enhancing habitats for wildlife alongside the business site.

It is the next step in our commitment to sustainable development: the same land that supports the site’s wind and solar generation will also be managed to leave nature in a measurably better state.

Five centuries on the River Don

First recorded in 1486, Bullhouse Corn Mill was the first mill on the River Don. The Booth family have run it since 1960, and today the river that once turned the mill wheel generates electricity for the site.
